The menu is impressively diverse, offering both sweet and savory options that go far beyond the classic pancakes with lemon and sugar. Pankache buoni, ma non i migliori, anche perché non lasciano il tempo di gustarli, bisogna liberare subito il tavolo. Il caffè viene servito subito, quando arrivano i Pankache è ormai freddo

I went on pancake day as I wanted the hassle of making pancakes to be done for me. As expected it was busy but we didn’t mind waiting. Once seated we ordered our pancakes and drinks. I went for the simple pancakes with chocolate sauce. However upon eating them they tasted quite sour. As if one of the ingredients had gone off. I can understand it is probably one of the busiest days for them but the taste really lacked. Due to how rushed off their feet the staff were I didn’t mention it (they also didn’t do a check back on our table anyways). So in the end I didn’t eat the pancakes but paid through the QR and left.

There was a staff who seemed extremely sick and was continuously coughing, it seemed as if it was not appropriate for her to be working but she was.

Came here for a coffee with a friend on a Saturday while strolling around the area and was really impressed with how warmly welcomed we were by staff. Everyone working there was super friendly and approachable, and it’s in a great spot “tucked away” behind Southwark Bridge. Delicious coffee. Still need to return to try the pancakes though!

I really liked the food: pancakes were really tasty and there were lots of vegetarian options. The place is quite packed, so I recommend booking earlier. We had a place on the outside, but they have heating lamps and provide blankets which was very nice. The service was great. Overall I am really pleased.

Hidden away behind Southwark bridge, with a very large seating area downstairs, there are a few more table upstairs as well. We were welcomed very warmly and seated right away although there were already many people. Their menu has a very wide selection of brunches, with vegan options as well, even for the pancakes! Would also recommend their juices. Overall a lovely place and great experience. Thank you for having us!

A friend of mine recommended me this place so on my trip i decided to pop in for pancakes. The staff were very nice but my pancakes were undercooked & not what I was expecting . To be honest the place is ok but for pancakes you can have much better elsewhere @ a reasonable price.

The food was very good, pancakes were soft and fluffy, I recommend the pastrami pancakes, they give extra syrup on request with zero charge. However, I wasn’t the most fond of the avocado, but our server was very kind to take it off the bill when he noticed we hadn’t eaten much of it. Mao was very friendly and catering towards my table, 10/10 service. The music was very lively and also 10/10, the place was very homey and cute, would definitely recommend ☺️

Great food. This is a great little spot. We had the full English breakfast. The eggs were amazing. The pancakes were great also. Highly recommend this place. Plus, it is close to the Borough Market.

Decent pancakes, they are spenny but it’s central London so to be expected. Found it SO hard to get the staff’s attention, wasn’t even able to order a drink until we’d been sat at the table for 30 mins. Given how popular it is and how many poor sods were waiting outside in the cold because we were on the table ages due to waiting ages to order, the staff would be best taking drinks and food orders 5-10 mins after seating guests or giving guests a buzzer/bell to get attention because it took someone from our table physically standing up and walking over to the coffee bar bit to be able to order drinks. I notice I’m not the only reviewer to observe this. The management need to hire more wait staff for busy weekend times.
